T5W | Book Series You Wish Had More Books

5pm on Wednesday and I decide to start doing Top 5 Wednesday... good job, Katie. This is my first T5W so I may not be the most interesting but oh well.

Today's is books series we want there to be more of, so here are mine:

1. Heist Society by Ally Carter (Heist Society, Uncommon Criminals, and Perfect Scoundrels)

This series is very much a one book one plot line structure. There is a small arc running overall but there is so much that could still be done without the story being milked or wasted.

2. Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake (Anna Dressed in Blood, Girl of Nightmares)

Many say that this series did not need a second book but personally I feel there should have been more to the story. Girl of Nightmares resonates as a second book to me; like it is setting up for something else. Again, there are so many cases that Cas could go on and I would happily read.

3. Time's Echo by Pamela Hartshorne (Time's Echo, Memory of Midnight, and Edge of Dark)

These are more companion novels to each other but they follow the same structure throughout; they switch between the past and present day York. There is also a bit of mystery in each. I love this series and hope the author writes a couple more before moving on to another type. It is at risk of being dragged but not quite yet.

4. Precious Stones by Kerstin Gier (Ruby Red, Sapphire Blue, and Emerald Green)

I love this series so much. The world, the characters, the history- I love it all. This series has the potential to be given a spin off though (like Percy Jackson moved into Heroes of Olympus) because it was wrapped up in the final book. Does not mean I do not hope for another shot at Gwen's world.

5. Enola Holmes Mysteries by Nancy Springer ( The Case of the Missing Marquess, Case of the Left-Handed Lady, Case of the Bizarre Bouquet, Case of the Peculiar Pink Fan, Case of the Cryptic Crinoline, Case of the Gypsey Goodbye)

I know there are a lot of books in this series but there was a need for more. They were so short and quick. I would love a trilogy of Enola once she is a little older and more explanation of her relationship with Sherlock. It was so well constructed and so fun to read that it is hard not to crave more.
